DUSSERA CELEBRATIONS

VVF celebrated Dussera with ‘Bhaava Raaga Taala’ – where devotion to Mother was expressed with utmost feeling with the chanting of vedas, singing of stotrams and bhajans and dancing to the taal of dandiya raas.
Devotees came with their families and friends dressed in special outfits to celebrate the cultural evening. The Centre was very well decorated with a mini golu, beautiful rangolis and floral back drops. The illuminated trees at the entrance added to the festive aura.[…]

Foundation Day Celebrations

It was indeed a joyous occasion for the students of VVF to gather at the Centre on 4th May to chant Slokas and sing bhajans to commemorate its 4th Foundation day. The Foundation also organized a blood donation camp on the 7th of May at the Centre in collaboration with NMMC blood bank. The response was very good. Hanuman Janmotsav at the Centre was indeed a combination of Karma, Bhakti and Jnana Yoga for the devotees who gathered to celebrate the occasion. The Centre was decorated with flowers. Saffron flags, festoons bearing images of Shri Hanuman and Lord Rama’s name added beauty and reminded everyone of the Lord and His devotee. Mahashivratri was celebrated with great fervor at the serene Parsik Hill Centre. The chants of Lord Shiva resounded everywhere. The omniscient, all-pervading and ever-graceful Shiva was invoked by the melodious bhajans by children and the chanting of Shiva Stotrams by the devotees.All limitedness of the devotees was dissolved and the divine energy pouring in was experienced by all as the great night of Shiva continued with the Havan, offering 108 herbs and the Abhishekam performed by Pujya Vasudhaji and Kumaraswamyji.[…]
