“I am Dr. Sangita Bansode, a pathologist from BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai and am the In-charge of the NMMC blood bank. My journey in VVF began with attending satsang of Acharya Vasudhaaji. She opened the world of Vedanta to me. I listened to the scriptures, completed basic and advanced Vedanta courses. I also had the opportunity to be with Acharyaji, thanks to the various yatras and camps arranged by VVF. The motto of VVF is listening, learning and living. Acharyaji has given us many opportunities to serve and to apply this knowledge as a volunteer at VVF. As a Doctor, I encounter many difficult medical situations, but with Acharyaji’s teachings I understood that one has to be strong themselves to help others.

By education I am a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Worked as a cement professional in corporate organizations like Lrasen and Toubro Limited and Ambuja Cement Limited.
My objective in joining Viva Vedanta Foundation is to grow and evolve as a spiritual person with the goal of Self Realisation.My aim is to understand my father’s work on Satyam Shunyam Daivam and render it in english.

I want to study Bhagawadgit and Upanishads, understand and implement them in life. Vasudhaji Acharyaji happended to solve my problem of lack of knowledge of Sanskrit language. She made it easy to study and understand scriptures.Through her grace and blessings , I completed Basic and advanced Vedanta courses. During the program I had the opportunity to study 3 Upanishads.. I listened to her discourse on the Essentials of the 18 chapters
of Bhagaadgita. The study is continued by attending various discourses on Upanishads and Sutras of the saints. I got into the main theme of Listen, Learn and Live..
In order to apply and practice the teachings, Acharyaji selected me to work as a core ,member of the Annadanam seva.The seva is meant to develop sense of humility and purify the antahkarana.
The beneficial effect due to the association with VVF that have come in my life are:Mental agitations have come down considerably.
Could meet the challenges that have come in the recent past. It is more of a practical application of the lessons, going from man dependency to God dependency.
Meditation has become a regular and daily habit.
I want to continue studying the scriptures, understand and contemplate.. Whatever assignments Guriju gives I will carry out. Under her guidance I want to complete translation of my father’s work.
Sai Nivas, where Vasudhaa ji lives, came into being in 2017. Since then, it was seen that many animals like cows, cats, and dogs, were left to fend for themselves. This brought about the need for a shelter home for these abandoned animals. Under the guidance of Vasudhaa Chaitanya ji, Maai Aasra was inaugurated in July 2021 at the Sai Nivas Ashram, Coimbatore.
According to the Vedas, Upanishads, and the Puranas, the Cow is the Mother of all creatures. Maai Aasra opened its doors to abandoned bovines at Sai Nivas Ashram, Coimbatore.
सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः। सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः। सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु। मा कश्चित् दुःख भाग्भवेत्॥
