The Foundation was a natural blossom grown from the need of the students seeking platforms to apply the Vedic teachings of living. Students often were found saying that what the scriptures prescribe is difficult to practice in their day-to-day life. The momentum (way of life) that they had already set forth, before the scriptural knowledge, seemed running contrary with Ancient Wisdom.

The teachings of the Shastras would be obsolete had they not been applicable in our day-to-day lives. To facilitate students to verify and practice, as though in a laboratory, the practical application of the theory they learned in class, it almost became mandatory for me to set up a centre. This place where like-minded individuals could get together, listen to the teachings of Vedanta, share notes, and engage in activities, where they could put their knowledge to test, was established.

The Foundation is thus dedicated to bringing the profound wisdom of Advaita Vedanta to the everyday lives of people. Listening, Learning, and Living is the motto guiding the students towards their goal. Several platforms such as Annadaan (food donation for the hungry), Medical Seva, and Literacy Programs, were initiated to offer students to discover the spirit of oneness and selflessness that Advaita inspires.

These initiatives are not just acts of charity, but expressions of lived Vedanta — where knowledge transforms into karma yoga, with bhakti- love and dedication and thus service becomes a means for inner growth. Idea is to ensure that the teachings of Advaita are not confined to books but are reflected in the daily lives and actions of sincere seekers.
