पुत्र एषणा – Desire for progeny, followers, relations, etc
वित्त एषणा – Desire for wealth, materials, etc
लोक एषणा- Desire for name, fame, recognition, status, etc. Seeking satisfaction & completion through these three is perpetual, never-ending, and does not solve the root problem of self-inadequacy. Only the wise one who has understood the limitations of these three longings in this world and through the pursuit of Moksha Purushartha has come to know the Essential Self, is satisfied ( तुष्ट:). In Atman Alone ( आत्मनि एव) By Atman (आत्मना), is a Jeevan Mukta – liberated while living.
